PSNI Appeal For Calm This Halloween
The PSNI is urging members of the public to be careful and considerate in their Halloween celebrations this year.
Previous years have seen crews respond to reports of fireworks being set off in confined spaces, stones thrown at the windows of people's homes and general antisocial behaviour.
"We are asking you to help us prevent this type of activity this year," a PSNI spokesperson said.
"We want you all to have a safe and enjoyable Halloween so we are asking you to be considerate, mindful of others and take a moment to think about the impact your actions can have on others."
Parents and guardians are urged to speak with their children about the consequences of antisocial behaviour ahead of Halloween night and know where they will be at all times.
"If you are a young person, please make sure your behaviour is respectful, safe and legal.
"We will be carrying out active patrols and are here if you need us."
Officers can be contacted on 101 or 999 for anyone needing assistance in an emergency.
The Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service also called for calm this Halloween and issued safety advice for using fireworks and sparklers, accessible here.
