Start-up Retail Space On Offer In Co Antrim
An opportunity has arisen for up to four retail start-ups to locate to Ballymena, Co Antrim.
The business premises have been made available via the Ballymena Business Centre and The Gallaher Trust, a unique opportunity for new firms to avail of low rent retail space.
The incubation premises will be provided within the established Midtown premises located on Church Street Ballymena.
Successful Entrepreneurs will benefit from:
• high street premises with established footfall
• business support including mentoring and networking
• start-up grant (subject to eligibility)
• subsidised heat, light, WiFi and commercial rates.
Monthly rent starts at £150 plus VAT.
Businesses wishing to be considered for the opportunity should complete the application form online.
Applications will be considered on a first come first served basis.

CGDM To Develop New Office Premises
CGDM Construction in Newry is to invest over £500,000 to develop new office premises at Carnbane Business Park. The firm is also creating 10 new jobs with the support of Invest Northern Ireland. Invest NI has offered the company £74,000 of support towards the creation of the new jobs and marketing activities.

Local Businessman Benefits From Empty Premises Relief Scheme
Finance Minister Sammy Wilson has congratulated a local businessman from Carrickfergus who is benefitting from the Empty Premises Rate Relief scheme. Mr Colin Campbell has opened a scooter shop on West Street in Carrickfergus and will now benefit from a 50% discount on his rates for 12 months.
