Pair Due In Court Over Portadown Murder

Two men have been charged with the murder of Cecil Robert R Ellis in Portadown.

The 49 year-old, who is known locally as Foggy, was found dead at a house in the town's Clonaugh Park last Monday, 09 December.

Police subsequently launched a murder investigation and have charged a pair, aged 18 and 24, with murder.

Both men are due to appear at Armagh Magistrates Court today, Tuesday 17 December.

All charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service, as is normal procedure.
