Startup Fundamentals Workshop Announced
A free interactive start-up workshop for local entrepreneurs and people interested in tech start-ups is to take place next month.
The Catalyst workshop provides the opportunity to hear from some of the leading tech start-ups in Northern Ireland.
The workshop will be led by Eoin Lambkin, Founder and Director of Circular Data Solutions and one of Catalyst's Entrepreneurs in Residence.
Topics to be covered include:
• testing your product/service and market assumptions
• getting your business plan understood by everyone
• picking the right team
• identifying the key financial considerations
• creating luck and finding yourself a mentor
Eoin will be joined by Paul Stewart, MD of My Baggage and Julie Brien, COO & Founder of TriMedika, who will share their knowledge and experience with the audience.
The event is planned for Thursday 16 January 2020 at the Catalyst Belfast Fintech Hub, between 12 noon and 2pm.
The day's agenda will be as follows:
• 12:00 - 12:30: lunch and networking
• 12:30 - 12:35: welcome
• 12:35 - 13:15: workshop
• 13:15 - 13:30: panel discussion
• 13:30 - 13:45: audience Q&A
• 13:45: close
Entrepreneurs, innovative individuals with a business idea, start-ups and early stage businesses will be welcomed, and attendees should note that lunch is included.

Free Entrepreneurs Workshop Announced
A free entrepreneurs workshop is to be held in Belfast City Hall next week as the final part of the Council's 'Start By Doing' programme. The initiative is providing support to a minimum of 200 budding entrepreneurs in Belfast who want to turn their business ideas into a reality.
