Funeral Of Popular NI Broadcaster Open To The Public
A funeral service for popular local broadcaster Stephen Clements is to be held in Belfast next Tuesday, 14 January.
The service for the BBC Radio Ulster star will take place at Roselawn cemetery and will be open to the public.
News of the death of the much-loved radio presenter was announced by the BBC on Tuesday, 07 January. Stephen had joined the corporation's Radio Ulster station last summer after being the longterm presenter on Q Radio's breakfast show.
A married father-of-two, his death sparked an outpouring of tributes on social media from admirers local to Northern Ireland and beyond.
The funeral service is scheduled to take place at 4.30pm next Tuesday.

Around 300 staff and 130 gritters are ready to salt main roads, while 12 snow blowers are available for deployment if necessary. As regional broadcasters toasted their success in a major radio awards ceremony, the BBC Trust has launched a review of its radio services in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. It is an ironic development as BBC Radio Ulster has been celebrating after being named Station of the Year at this year's Phonographic Performance Ireland (PPI) Awards.
