Traffic: Serious Collision Closes Co Armagh Road

Motorists in Co Armagh are facing traffic chaos this morning as police deal with a "serious" two-vehicle collision.

The Monaghan Road has been closed in both directions at its junction with the Baltarran Road at Milford.

Road users are urged to seek an alternative route and local diversions are in place, however significant knock-on delays should be expected.

Woman Killed In Co Armagh Road Collision
A woman in her 30s has been killed in a road crash in Portadown, Co Armagh. The woman was hit by a car as she was walking on the side of the Moy Road at around 9.45pm on Tuesday. The road was closed for a short time but it has been reopened. Police are appealing for any witnesses to contact them.

Ballagh Road Closed Following Crash
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following a serious road traffic collision in Newcastle, Co Down. The Ballagh Road has been closed and motorists are being advised to avoid the area. A PSNI spokesman said: "Motorists are advised that the Ballagh Road, Newcastle is closed due to a serious road traffic collision this afternoon.
