Duchess Of Cambridge Visits NI
The Duchess of Cambridge has today arrived in Northern Ireland for a short visit.
The royal spent the afternoon at The Ark Open Farm in Newtownards as it celebrates its 30th anniversary.
The occasion marks Catherine's first official visit to the region without husband Prince William and comes a year after the pair attended together.
Meeting families and young children at the Co Down farm, the Duchess chatted with well wishers and even met some of the farm's much-loved animals.
The visit comes as she promotes her Early Years charity and continues her work to support young children and their development.
A national survey launched by the Duchess last month titled "five big questions on the under-fives" is now live. This aims to collect data that will inform the focus of her continued work to support early years development.
A plaque to commemorate the visit was unveiled by the Duchess in celebration of the farm's 30th anniversary.

Man Jailed In Connection With Annahilt Cannabis Farm
The PSNI has welcomed the sentencing of a man at Craigavon Crown Court in connection with a cannabis farm disovered in Annahilt in February, 2023. Clive Weir, from the Annahilt area, was sentenced to 18 months in prison and 18 months on licence.
