Book Of Condolence Opens For Harry Gregg
A book of condolence has opened in Belfast following the death of local football legend Harry Gregg.
The Manchester United and Northern Ireland player is arguably best known for his heroics at the 1958 Munich air disaster when he rescued a number of survivors, including a young baby, from the plane wreckage.
Harry passed away early on Monday at the age of 87. His death sparked an outpouring of love and tributes.
The Irish FA has since opened a book of condolence in his memory at Windsor Park, where fans can pay him tribute.
Chief Executive Patrick Nelson was among the first to add his signature. Members of the public are invited to sign the book in the main reception until Friday, 21 February.
Harry's funeral will take place in St Patrick's Parish Church, Coleraine on the same day. The noon ceremony will be followed by internment at Coleraine Cemetery.
A legend of the game, the Co L'Derry native played for the local side from 1954 to 1963 and was voted best goalkeeper at the 1958 World Cup when Northern Ireland reached the quarter finals.

Work Underway For Free Hospital Parking In Northern Ireland
Work has begun at several hospital sites across Northern Ireland as part of the preparations for the introduction of free car parking in May 2026. Health and Social Care Trusts have been actively preparing for the implementation of a new traffic management system since the Hospital Parking Charges Act was passed in 2022.
