£250k Drugs Seized In Larne
Some £250,000 worth of suspected drugs have been seized in Larne, Co Antrim.
Officers from the PSNI's Organised Crime Branch discovered the cocaine, amphetamine and herbal cannabis during a search of a property on the Browndod Road yesterday, Thursday 20 February.
A 51 year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of class A and class B drugs with intent to supply.
Detective Inspector Phelan said: The illegal supply and use of drugs is a priority for police and seizures such as this demonstrate our ongoing commitment to tackling the scourge of drugs in our society."
Members of the public with information or concerns about the sale or supply of illegal drugs in their community is urged to contact police on the non-emergency line 101 or via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Suspected Class B drugs with an estimated street value of £100,000 have been recovered from a property in the Crumlin area in a police operation on Monday, 24th October. Officers carried out a search in the Loughview Road area on Monday morning, where they located a suspected cannabis factory inside a number of outhouses.
