Appeal For Information Over Omagh Collision
Police are appealing for information after a driver involved in a collision in Omagh failed to file a report.
The incident on Sunday 16 February 2020 occurred sometime between 10.30pm and 11.15pm on the town's Drumnakilly Road.
The driver of the Blue Mini has not yet come forward after a field in the area was damaged.
A number of other vehicles were reported to have aided the recovery of the Blue Mini, however the owner of the field was not informed.
A PSNI spokesperson said: "If you are the owner of the vehicle or if you witnessed the incident please contact police on 101 and quote serial 02 17/02/2020."
Number Of Vehicles Damaged In Lurgan- PSNI
Criminal damage has been caused to a number of vehicles in Lurgan sparking a PSNI appeal for information.
Police say "quite a number" of cars were targeted as they sat parked along Browlow Terrace and the Antrim Road, between 10pm and 11pm on Tuesday 25 February.
Most of the damage caused was to wing mirrors.
A PSNI representative urged anyone with information or who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area to get in touch.
"I'm sure that if it was your car, you would want someone held to account for it and don't want to be out of pocket to fix or replace it," the spokesperson commented.
If you saw someone or heard something you believe may be relevant, detectives can be contacted on 101 via reference 1863 and 1890 of 25/02/20, or by calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
Major Roadworks Confirmed In North Belfast
A busy road in the Finaghy area of north Belfast is set to close for resurfacing work.
Approximately £300,000 is being invested to improve Finaghy Road North from the M1 overbridge to Lisburn Road.
Work will begin on Monday 02 March and run until the end of April.
The project will be delivered across two phases and include footway reconstruction, improved drainage and carriageway resurfacing.
The Department for Infrastructure is introducing weekday lane closures between 9:30am and 4:30pm for a period of six weeks to complete the footway reconstruction works on the section of Finaghy Road North between the M1 overbridge and Finaghy crossroads.
On completion of the footway works a road closure will be required for one week to complete the carriageway resurfacing. It is anticipated that the road closure will commence in mid April. Local access and access for emergency vehicles will be maintained during the closures.
Road users should expect some delays and allow additional time when planning their journey.

Work Underway For Free Hospital Parking In Northern Ireland
Work has begun at several hospital sites across Northern Ireland as part of the preparations for the introduction of free car parking in May 2026. Health and Social Care Trusts have been actively preparing for the implementation of a new traffic management system since the Hospital Parking Charges Act was passed in 2022.
