PSNI Appeal Over L'Derry Sexual Assault

Police have launched an appeal following a serious sexual assault in L'Derry.

Detectives are keen to speak to anyone who was in a licensed premises on Ferryquay Street between 10.30pm and midnight on Saturday night, 29 February.

Members of the public who believe they may have witnessed something relevant to the investigation or who heard anything in the area of the toilets are urged to come forward.

Police can be reached on 101 by quoting reference 2001 of 29/02/20.

Information can also be submitted by dialling the Crimestoppers anonymous line on 0800 555 111.

Six men have been arrested in connection with a serious sexual assault in south Belfast. The attack is believed to have happened in the early hours of Wednesday morning, 19 September. An investigation has launched and the suspects are helping the PSNI with their enquiries.

Afghanistan Veteran On Rape Charge
A bomb-blasted former soldier has appeared in court in Belfast charged with rape and false imprisonment. Gerald Verner, 23, of Forthriver Park, who was deafened by a bomb in Afghanistan, is also accused of inflicting grievous bodily harm, sexual assault and threats to kill against the same woman.

Police Appeal For Information After Serious Sexual Assault In South Belfast
An investigation has been launched into the alleged serious sexual assault of a woman in south Belfast on 12 July. Police have said that the woman was attacked shortly after midnight in St George's Gardens near Sandy Row. Police are searching for a man in connection with the attack.
