Kevin Lunney Kidnap: Three Released Without Charge
Three people arrested by detectives investigating the abduction and torture of Quinn Industrial Holdings (QIH) director Kevin Lunney have been released without charge.
The two men, aged 23, and a 61 year-old woman were arrested in Co Fermanagh and questioned at Omagh Police Station on Thursday.
They have since been released unconditionally.
A third individual, a man in his 30s, was detained by Gardaí in Co Cavan on Thursday.
It comes amid a cross-border investigation into the kidnap and torture of the Co Fermanagh businessman last September. The father-of-six suffered life changing injuries in the attack before being left by a roadside in Co Cavan.
Police have urged anyone with information, "no matter how insignificant it appears", in relation to the attack to contact detectives in Enniskillen on 101 quoting reference 1748 of the 17/09/19 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Prison Officer Released On Bail Over Drugs Offences
A prison officer has been released on bail after being arrested over drugs offences. The woman, reported to be 50-years-old, was arrested on suspicion of possessing and supplying Class A and B drugs at Maghaberry Prison. According to reports, it is understood she was detained on Monday, and released pending further enquiries.

Q1 Crown Court Cases Increase 10%
Figures released today show a 10% increase in the number of Crown court cases from January to March 2013, compared with the same quarter the previous year. There were 477 Crown cases received during the first quarter, in comparison to 435 received during the same period in 2012.

More NI People Joining Dole Queue
There are now more people on the Dole in Northern Ireland with figures released today showing that the unemployment rate increased to reach 7.8%. This is according to the statistics recorded over the quarter, September - November 2010, backed-up by more recent figures for December 2010.
