Teleticket wins 'Hot 100' place
Teleticket, Northern Ireland’s home grown holiday company specialising locally in direct flights between Belfast and Spain, has won fresh recognition in Real Business magazine’s annual ‘Hot 100’ listing.
Teleticket (the trading name of Airborne Representation) is the independent flight-only company founded and managed by Portrush born entrepreneur Olivia Mullan who is understandably delighted at this latest accolade.
Olivia said: “It’s great for us to be recognised as high flyers not only in our own, airline sector, but also in the wider business environment. The judges referred to us as a “successful people company” which is exactly how we want to position ourselves.
“We owe our growth and success to our proactive ‘people first’ stance and we’re delighted to have that priority so publicly endorsed’. We have a great team here in Teleticket and their professionalism and enthusiasm has built our reputation amongst the people who entrust their travel bookings to us.”
This year Teleticket edged into the national listing at Number 68 but Olivia has her aspirations firmly set on climbing through the ranks. She said: “We have already expanded considerably but there is still more growth and development ahead for Teleticket.
“Originally we operated solely from GB airports to a range of European holiday destinations. I was more than happy to bring my business to Northern Ireland recently, launching direct services between Belfast and Spain. That step of confidence – and loyalty – has already begun to pay off for us and I predict that Northern Ireland will be fuelling a substantial proportion of our growth in the coming year and beyond. If we have been hot in the last year - the temperature is about to soar!”
Compiled by Dun & Bradstreet, for Real Business, the Hot 100 is a ranking of privately owned companies with fewer than 500 employees.
The ranking is based largely on organic sales growth over a four-year period.
All companies had to start with a minimum turnover of £250,000; make a profit in the last year; and still be actively trading.
