Job Scene sees recruitment 'rush'
Employers and training providers have rushed to secure their stand at Job Scene Northern Ireland according to the show's organisers.
The event, run in association with the Department for Employment and Learning, will take place at the Odyssey Arena on 23 & 24 September 2004.
CITB, Debenhams Plc, Driver Hire Nationwide, Famac Network Ltd, Halifax, Kennedy Recruitment, Lidl Ireland Gmbh, Northern Ireland Civil Service, Northern Ireland Fire Brigade, Royal Air Force and Translink are just some of the exhibitors booked into the event.
Presented by the Belfast Telegraph and supported by Eures Cross-border Partnership and Cool FM, the event, which has grown year on year attracting more and more exhibitors, visitors and unique zones and features, is sure to attract a far-reaching motivated audience from all aspects of the community.

Minister Launches Belfast Recruitment Event
Employment and Learning Minister Dr Stephen Farry is inviting local jobseekers to a recruitment and job interview event. The event takes place at the Holiday Inn, Ormeau Avenue, Belfast, on Wednesday, 17th December from 9am to 1.30pm and will feature five major employers in the Belfast area who wish to recruit staff.

NI unemployment figures increase
The number of people unemployed in Northern Ireland is on the increase according to the latest figures. Labour force statistics released on Wednesday revealed that some 46,000 people are unemployed, a rise of 3,000 on the this time last year.
