Security Alert In L'Derry Declared 'Elaborate Hoax'
A security alert in L'Derry has now ended after it was declared an elaborate hoax.
A suspicious object was discovered on the Fairview Road in the Galliagh area on Monday, 02 November.
Army bomb experts attended the scene and examined the object.
It follows an earlier security alert near St Columb's College. The school and a number of homes were evacuated, however it was also declared an elaborate hoax.

A security alert in Newtownabbey, Co Antrim, has been declared an elaborate hoax. Residents had to be evacuated from their homes after a suspicious object was discovered in the Devenish Drive area on Wednesday, 12 October.

Tesco Security Alert 'Elaborate Hoax'
A security alert which closed a Tesco supermarket in south Belfast has been declared an "elaborate hoax" by police. The store, located on the Newtownbreda Road had to be evacuated at around 2pm on Thursday (18 December), following the discovery of a suspicious object in the area.

The PSNI have issued an appeal for information and witnesses following a security alert at the Henry Jones Playing Field in east Belfast on Sunday, 26 May. A suspicious object was reported at the playing field in the Church Road area of Castlereagh shortly after 11.20am.

A security alert in Maghera has been declared an "elaborate hoax". The alert began shortly after 4:35pm on Sunday, 12 November, when it was reported to police that a suspicious object had been found at residential premises in the Sunnyside Drive area. A number of homes in the area were evacuated, as police conducted a public safety operation.
