Around 285,000 People Could Be Vaccinated Pending Licensing

Around 285,000 people could be vaccinated against Covid-19, if the potential new vaccine passes the next stage of trails.

It is understood that NI could receive some 570,000 doses of the vaccine if it becomes licensed.

According to BBC News NI, the Department of Health has said that any supply NI receives will be part of a wider UK order, that would be distributed among the regions using the Barnett Formula.

Reports suggest that the Royal College of GPs in Northern Ireland will discuss the potential vaccine roll out this week.
