Pipe Bombs, Gunpowder And Cocaine Seized In Drogheda
Pipe bombs, gunpowder, cocaine, a large quantity of ammunition and suspected Alprazolam tablets have been seized in Co Louth.
Garda discovered the haul during the search of a property in Drogheda at around 11pm on Thursday, 23 April.
A number of homes in the area had to be evacuated during the search.
Army technical experts removed the two improvised explosive devices, and other material believed to be used in the manufacture of explosives, for further examination.
The scene is being preserved for further forensic examination.
Two men have been arrested and are being detained for questioning.

Man Arrested Following Discovery Of Improvised Explosive Device
The PSNI's Terrorism Investigation Unit have worked in partnership with An Garda Síochána to arrest a man in Co Louth following the discovery of a suspected improvised explosive device in Co Louth. The arrest was made during a search operation in the Ravensdale area in the early hours of Sunday, 09 June.

Tobermore Alert Ends As Device Removed
A second security alert in Co Londonderry within 24-hours has been cleared. A crude device was found outside a vacant property on Main Street in Tobermore on Friday morning. It has been suggested that the device may have been thrown at the house but failed to go off. The alert began around 7.

A man arrested in connection with a fatal collision on the A2 carriageway between Bangor and Holywood on Monday has been released on bail. The 33-year-old was questioned on suspicion of dangerous driving after a 75-year-old woman was killed in the crash near to the Devil's Elbow. He has been released pending further enquiries.
