Man Shot In The Leg In L'Derry

A man has been injured after being shot in the leg in Claudy, L'Derry.

The victim had been picked up by several males in a car in the Letterkenny Road at around 11.40pm on Monday, 17 May.

He was taken to the Heathfield Road area and was shot once in the leg, according to the PSNI.

The injured man made his way to a nearby house and is currently being treated in hospital.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Four men have been injured in separate paramilitary-style attacks in Northern Ireland. In the first incident, a 24-year-old man was shot in the leg in County Antrim. The attack happened at about 5.15pm on Thursday February 28 in the Carnhill Walk area of Carrickfergus. Two men overpowered the man and forced him to the ground.

Man Shot In The Leg In East Belfast
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following a shooting incident in east Belfast. A man, aged in his 30s, is being treated in hospital after he was shot in the lower leg on Chamberlain Street at about 11:40pm on Sunday 20 February. The man is being treated in hospital.

A man in his 30s has been shot in the leg in L'Derry. Police say the incident in the Magowan Park area of Creggan on Wednesday night, 18 March, has all the hallmarks of a paramilitary-style attack. The victim has been taken to hospital for treatment.
