Over 40 Firefighters Tackle Lisburn Road Blaze

Over 40 firefighters battled a blaze in an apartment block for over two hours on the Lisburn Road in south Belfast on Monday, 17 May.

Fire crews arrived at the scene between Windsor Road and Ethel Street at 2.22pm and brought the flames under control by 5.07pm.

The road was partially closed until 5.30pm and investigators believe it was accidental.
