Four People Hospitalised After Craigavon Garage Fire
Four people have been left in hospital following a suspected arson attack in Craigavon.
A fire was reported in Westacres late last night, 12 July, where a garage was set ablaze. NIFRS was on the scene to tackle the blaze around 11.40pm, joined by police.
Four occupants of the adjoining property, including three children under 10, were taken to safety and are now being treated for the effects of smoke inhalation in hospital.
Police are treating the incident as arson and have appealed for anyone who was in the area and saw what happened to call them on 101, quoting reference 29 of 13/07/21.

Man Dies In Three Car Collision In Dundrum
Police have issued an appeal for information following a fatal collision in Dundrum, Co Down. A 49-year-old man died at the scene of a three-car collision on the Belfast Road at about 12:20am on Thursday. It is understood that four other people are being treated in hospital following the collision.

An illuminated scroll is to be presented to Chief Fire Officer John McClelland on Tuesday, by assembly speaker Lord Alderdice in tribute to the sacrifice made by fire fighters over the years.

Officers responded to reports of a fire at a block of flats in Flax Street at around 5.40am on Saturday 29 September. The officers who were first to arrive at the scene entered the building and evacuated residents.

NIFRS Launches Online Home Fire Safety Check Tool
The Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service (NIFRS) has introduced a new online tool to help residents assess their home fire safety. The Home Fire Safety Check coincides with Fire Safety Week, which runs from September 30th to October 6th. The initiative aims to reduce the number of house fires in Northern Ireland.
