Serious Crash On Glenshane Pass

The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following a two car collision on the Glenshane Pass in County Antrim.

The A6 road has been closed in both directions between Castledawson and Dungiven following a "serious crash" near the Ponderosa Bar.

Diversions are in place and motorists have been asked to avoid the area.

Anyone with information about the collision, especially any motorists with dashcam footage, is asked to contact police.

Education Minister, Paul Givan, has announced the opening of online applications for the Targeted Early Years Pathway Fund for the 2025/26 and 2026/27 academic years. The Pathway Fund, introduced in 2016, aims to provide early years education services for children aged 0-4 who may be at risk of falling behind in their education.

The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following a serious road traffic collision in Newcastle, Co Down. The Ballagh Road has been closed and motorists are being advised to avoid the area. A PSNI spokesman said: "Motorists are advised that the Ballagh Road, Newcastle is closed due to a serious road traffic collision this afternoon.

Road Users Urged To Take More Care Following Serious Incidents
Police in Ards and North Down are appealing for all road users to take more care following two serious incidents on Monday 15 June. A multiple car collision occurred on the Ballyblack Road in Ards and a number of people had to be cut from their vehicles. In a separate incident, a young boy was hit by a vehicle on the High Bangor Road in Donaghadee.

Man Dies In Three Car Collision In Dundrum
Police have issued an appeal for information following a fatal collision in Dundrum, Co Down. A 49-year-old man died at the scene of a three-car collision on the Belfast Road at about 12:20am on Thursday. It is understood that four other people are being treated in hospital following the collision.

Police Investigate Fatal Collision Near Ballymena
An investigation has launched following a fatal collision near Ballymoney. According to reports, a man aged in his 70s and a woman aged in her 40s were killed when a car and a construction vehicle collided on the Benvardin Road at about 4pm on Monday 16 November. It is understood that the two victims were the driver and a rear passenger in the car.
