Executive To Discuss Changes To Self-Isolation Rules
The Northern Ireland Executive is to consider changes the rules around to self-isolation.
According to reports Health Minister Robin Swann has proposed that those who are double vaccinated, have been in contact with a Covid case but have themselves tested negative would not been required to self-isolate. A PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) test would still be required on the 2nd and 8th day after the exposure.
This would bring NI into line with rule changes in Britain.
The Executive is meeting today, Thursday 12 August, to discuss the proposal.
