PSNI Apologies Again For 'Victim Blaming' Leaflet
Leaflets distributed to students allegedly linking rape victims alcohol consumption as a cause of being attacked were distributed by PSNI officers "in error".
The PSNI has admitted that its officers distributed the leaflets, which state: "Alcohol is the number one rape drug. How much have you taken already?"
According to a report by BBC NI, the leaflets were given out at Ulster University's Magee Campus last week.
The PSNI have said the leaflet "does not reflect, in any way, how the Police Service of Northern Ireland views or treats victims of sexual crime", BBC NI reported.
It is understood, that the PSNI have previously apologised for distributing the same leaflets in February 2020 and an internal investigation has been launched to establish how the same leaflets where put back into circulation.

Man Due In Court As Police Cars Rammed
A man is due to appear in court after two PSNI vehicles were rammed during an incident in Forkhill, Co Armagh. The 38 year-old is facing a number of motor-related offences after he failed to stop for police at around 11.40pm on the Newry Road in North Bridge. Two PSNI vehicles were also rammed by the offending car.

Ards Man Fined For Dumping Waste At Bonfire Site
A 51-year-old has been fined for bonfire-related waste offences at Newtownards Magistrates' Court. Gareth Gill, of Abbot's Walk, Newtownards pleaded guilty to waste offences relating to a bonfire next to the electrical sub-station on the Circular Road in the town.
