Ministers Agree To Remove Social Distancing
Stormont ministers have agreed to remove social distancing in bars and restaurants in Northern Ireland on 31 October.
Nightclubs will also be permitted to open and the one-metre rule will be removed.
Event organisers will be asked to voluntarily introduce entry systems requiring people to either prove full vaccination or a negative lateral flow test.
The number of people who gather in indoor domestic settings will also be increased from 15 people to 30.

Social Distancing Removed For Retail And Indoor Venues
The Executive has agreed to remove the need for social distancing in shops and indoor venues, while asking those responsible for these venues, and those attending them, continue to utilise all other available mitigations such as hand sanitising, good ventilation, and using one way systems where possible.
