Appeal For Information After Man Found Seriously Injured In A Field
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information after a man was discovered with serious injuries in a field close to Lisnamurrikin Road, outside Broughshane, at about 08:15am this morning.
The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service treated the man at the scene before he was taken to hospital. He is said to be in a serious condition.
Police have said that they are investigating if there is a link between the man discovered in the field and a burning car, a silver Volvo, found in Doury Road in Ballymena just before 7am.
Anyone who may have witnessed anything suspicious in the area of either incident is asked to contact police.

A man aged in his 50s has died in a house fire in Magherafelt, Co L'Derry An investigation has been launched into the cause of the fire at a house on Highfield Road, however police said that they don't believe the fire was suspicious. The man's identity has not yet been released.

A serious road crash has occurred on the Chapel Road in L'Derry. A car and a motorbike where involved in the incident, according to the police. One man, believed to be a teenager, has been taken to hospital where his injuries are believed to be serious. The road has been closed at its junctions with Newlyn Terrace and Spencer Road.
