Body Discovered At Flat In Magherafelt
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following the discovery of a man's body in Magherafelt, Co L'Derry.
Police have launched a murder investigation after the body was found in a downstairs flat on Sandy Braes at around 12:30 on Monday.
It is understood that a man was arrested on suspicion of murder near the scene a short time later.
Police, who have said that their investigation is at a "very early stage", have appealed to anyone who may have noticed any unusual activity in the area over the last few days to contact them.

Police appeal following body find in house
The body of a man has been found at a house in Co Antrim on Thursday. The man, who is believed to be in his 50's, was discovered at the house in Ladysmith Terrace in the Harryville area of Ballymena at around 9pm. Police have appealed for information into tracing the man's movements over the last few days.

Police have launched a murder investigation following the discovery of a man's body in Newcastle, County Down. The 29-year-old was found in a flat in the Burrendale Park Road area on Saturday, 08 December. Police received a report of the man's body at around 1.45pm. Following a post-mortem on Sunday, the death is now being treated as murder.

Police have launched a murder investigation following the death of a man in Lurgan on Sunday, 06 August. The body of a 45-year-old man was discovered at a property in the Victoria Street area at around 2.15pm yesterday. Another man, also aged 45, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder and he remains in police custody.
