Man Injured In Aggravated Burglary In Ballymena

A man has been injured after four masked men broke into a house in Ballymena on Saturday evening, 21 November.

The incident happened in the Lanntara area at around 11.25pm.

The men, armed with a hammer and a bat, made the way into the house through the front door.

The injured man was asleep on the sofa.

The men may also have had a machete, according to the PSNI.

The man sustained injuries to his face, however he did not need to be treated in hospital.

Police are appealing to anyone with information to contact them.

Two people have been stabbed in an incident at the Millfield campus of Belfast Metropolitan College. One of the injured men is described as being in a critical condition, according to reports. Man Injured In Lurgan Shooting
A man has been injured in a shooting in Lurgan, Co Armagh. Two shots were fired at a house in the Ashleigh Crescent area just before 11pm on Sunday, 07 May. The man sustained a cut to his neck. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
