Man Injured In Aggravated Burglary In Ballymena
A man has been injured after four masked men broke into a house in Ballymena on Saturday evening, 21 November.
The incident happened in the Lanntara area at around 11.25pm.
The men, armed with a hammer and a bat, made the way into the house through the front door.
The injured man was asleep on the sofa.
The men may also have had a machete, according to the PSNI.
The man sustained injuries to his face, however he did not need to be treated in hospital.
Police are appealing to anyone with information to contact them.

Two people have been stabbed in an incident at the Millfield campus of Belfast Metropolitan College. One of the injured men is described as being in a critical condition, according to reports. Co Fermanagh man suffers broken nose in robbery
A Co Fermanagh man has suffered a broken nose after being assaulted by two men at his home in Enniskillen. The 65-year-old man was confronted by two men who forced their way into his home on Sunday. They then assaulted him before robbing his home. It is understood that a sum of money was taken during the robbery.
