Man Assaulted In East Belfast
A man has been assaulted by three men in east Belfast.
The attack happened in the Paxton Street area last Friday, 26 November.
The men made off with his wallet which contained a sum of cash.
The victim was taken to hospital to be treated.
PSNI Constable Ewing said: "We received a report that sometime between 2pm and 5.30pm, a man aged in his 40s had been attacked in the Paxton Street area of the city by three unknown males.
"The males also stole the victim's wallet which contained a sum of cash.
"The man was taken to hospital where he received treatment for his injuries."
Police are appealing for information.

Police Probe Shooting Incident
There has been a series of violent incidents across Northern Ireland in the last 24 hours. Most recently, a 38-year-old man was hurt in a north Belfast shooting that happened at Estoril Park at around 3.30am early this morning (Friday). The victim was shot in the hand and leg.

Man Threatened And Sum Of Cash Of Stolen In Belfast
Police are appealing for information after a number of men threatened and demanded money from a man in Belfast. The incident happened in the Yorkgate area on Wednesday, 30 November. The victim, aged in his 30s, was forced into a car, taken to his home where a sum of cash was stolen. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Home Ransacked As Elderly Victim Sleeps
A vulnerable 94 year-old lady lost a significant sum of cash when her Co Down home was ransacked while she slept. Burglars targeted the house in Avoca Lawns, Warrenpoint at sometime between 5pm and 8pm on Wednesday evening, 30 October. The elderly victim was resting in bed at the time.

Industry urges NI to ‘play safe’ with cash cards
Cash machine users were today advised to keep playing safe when making cash withdrawals, despite fraudulent cash withdrawals in Northern Ireland falling by 8% to £368,000 over the past year. However, despite a fall in Northern Ireland figures the rest of the UK saw an average rise of 85% in fraudulent cash withdrawals over the same period.

Recovered Body Named As Missing L'Derry Man
A body recovered from the River Foyle has been identified as that of missing L'Derry man Andrew Quigley. Mr Quigley (20), from Galliagh estate in the city, was reported missing on January 18, when he did not return home from a night out. A mobile phone and wallet belonging to Mr Quigley were found on the Foyle Bridge.
