Hoax bomb sent to office of SDLP councillor
A controlled explosion has been carried out at the offices of an SDLP councillor in Londonderry today.
The device was left near the office of assembly member, Pat Ramsey on Wednesday.
A dozen homes were evacuated on the Infirmary Road as army bomb experts dealt with the device, which was later declared an elaborate hoax.
Today's incident is the second such attack on an SDLP councillor in respective days.
On Tuesday a device was sent to the Policing Board's offices in Clarendon Docks in Belfast, addressed to Alex Attwood.
Army bomb experts were called and the device was taken away for forensic examination.

Suspect device sent to DPP member
A suspect device has been sent to a member of a district policing partnership in Co Down. SDLP councillor Michael Carr received the device by post to his home in Warrenpoint. Army bomb experts were immediately called to the scene and made safe the package. Cllr Carr said he believed the device had been sent by dissident republicans.

The home of an SDLP councillor has been targeted by dissident republicans. Pat Ramsey, the SDLP leader of Derry City Council, today said he was the target of a suspect device thrown at his neighbour's house on Tuesday night.

Suspicious Device Found In Antrim
A controlled explosion has been carried out on a suspicious device found in Co Antrim in the early hours of Thursday morning. Bomb disposal experts launched the security operation after the package was discovered at around 2am in a small wooded area on the Shore Road.
