Airport chemical spillage leaves six in hospital
A chemical spillage at Belfast City Airport has left six people in hospital.
The mercury spillage was found at around 8am on Monday by baggage handlers who where unloading cargo from an inbound Birmingham flight.
It is believed the spillage was found in the cargo hold of the Flybe plane.
Three of those handlers were immediately taken to hospital as a precaution along with two cargo handlers and a fireman who attended the scene of the incident shortly after it was reported.
The Birmingham flight was immediately cordoned off. Officials at Belfast City Airport said the 83 passengers and five crew were not in any danger.

Work Underway For Free Hospital Parking In Northern Ireland

Fish die in suspected chemical spillage
Hundreds of fish have been killed in a suspected chemical spillage in County Antrim today. The fish kill occurred in the Lower Colin River over the weekend in area close to the Kilwee Industrial Estate, near Dunmurray. The incident, which may have killed more than 300 trout, is being investigated by Environment and Heritage officers.
