Viable Device Discovered In West Belfast
A security alert is ongoing in west Belfast following the discovery of a suspicious object.
The object was discovered on Moor Park Mews late last night.
Emergency services, including Army technical officers, responded to the incident.
The device, which has been described as 'viable' has been made safe and removed for further examination.
A number of homes in the area were evacuated last night, but those people have since been allowed to return home.
Police are continuing to investigate the incident.
Anyone with any information about the incident is asked to contact police.

Hundreds Of New Homes To Be Developed In Co Down
Approximately 50 construction jobs are to be created as part of a £50million project to develop 900 new homes in Comber, Co Down. Northern Ireland homebuilders Hagan Homes has started construction work on the first phase of the 'Enler Village' site on the Newtownards Road, which includes the development of 17 new homes.

Officers Hurt In Police Station Alert
Five officers have been slightly injured following a car crash with a suspect vehicle in north Belfast. The PSNI said it happened when a car was seen to be driven in a suspicious manner at the back of Antrim Road police station at about 11pm on Thursday.

A suspicious object found in Co Antrim has been declared a hoax. The Mill Road in Newtownabbey has been reopened. Elsewhere, a suspicious object discovered on the Lisburn Road in south Belfast was also declared a hoax. The road reopened at around 4.20am on Wednesday, 13 July. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

PSNI Appeal For Information - Images And Videos Of Violent Disorder
Anyone with any information, including images and videos, relating to violent disorder in Belfast is being urged to submit it to the PSNI's Major Incident Public Portal. Following a third night of disorder in the city, Temporary Assistant Chief Constable, Melanie Jones, condemned the "horrendous scenes".
