Minister announces 'Working For You' exhibit at Balmoral Show
Agriculture Minister, Ian Pearson today urged everyone to visit the
'Northern Ireland Departments…Working for You!' exhibition at the Balmoral Show which begins next week.
The exhibition has been specially created to showcase the many exciting developments across government departments.
Visitors can try out cutting edge technology, alongside everything from road safety to rural issues, broadband to business start-up, and from conservation to careers and lifestyle advice.
Commenting on the exhibition, Mr Pearson said: “I urge everyone to visit the Northern Ireland Departments…Working for You! exhibition, where there is something to interest everyone, regardless of age or gender.
"It provides a unique opportunity to find out more about the services on offer across all of the Departments, and to see at first hand how they use new, exciting and innovative ways of interacting with customers, clients and their families.”

A new exhibition at Co Antrim's Dunluce Castle is showcasing its history - as well as many of the archaeological finds discovered there in recent years. Dunluce Castle, which is managed by the Northern Ireland Environment Agency (NIEA), is a key visitor destination on the Causeway Coastal Route.

Border signs warn of metric speed limits in RoI
Warning notices have been erected on main roads entering Northern Ireland from the Republic of Ireland following a decision by the Irish Government to adopt metric speed limits and distances. The new system will see the introduction of kilometres, (km), metres, (m) and kilometres per hour, (km/h), to the Republic of Ireland on 20 January.
