MLA's Reportedly 'Skip The Queue' To View Queen's Coffin

MLAs have reportedly "skipped the queue" to view the Queen Lying in State at Westminster Hall.

It is understood that MP's are not required to queue to view the coffin, and are also allowed to bring four guests, and according to Belfast Live footage from Westminster Hall reportedly shows MLAs entering from a side door and going to the front of the internal queue, ahead of members of the public who have waited up to 14 hours.

Belfast Live have also reported that MLAs travel to London is being covered by the Stormont Assembly.

Man Injured In Paramilitary-Style Attack In West Belfast
A 39-year-old man has been injured in a paramilitary-style shooting in west Belfast. The victim was shot in both ankles in the Glenalina Gardens area just after 9.30pm on Tuesday, 30 January. He was taken to hospital to be treated. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Man Shot In Legs In West Belfast
A man has been shot in both legs in west Belfast. The attack happened in the Ardmonagh Parade area at around 10pm on Friday, 06 January. The victim, aged 21, was taken to hospital to be treated, however his injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
