Appeal For Information On Bangor Shooting Incident
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information and witnesses after a man was shot in the leg in Bangor, Co Down, on Friday 16 December.
Making the appeal, Detective Sergeant Flavin said: "It was reported just after 10pm that a man, aged in his thirties, was walking in the Whitehill Drive area when he was approached by three unknown men, one of whom was armed with a gun.
"The victim was shot once in the leg and was taken to hospital for treatment. Thankfully, the injury is not believed to be life-threatening at this time.
"The suspects were described as being over six feet tall and wearing dark coloured tracksuits, with their faces covered. They are believed to have left the area on foot.
"Our enquiries are ongoing and we would appeal to anyone with information to contact us on 101 quoting reference 1893 of 16/12/22."

Appeal For Information On Newry Security Alert
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following a security alert in Newry on Monday, 01 January. The alert began when it was reported to police that a suspicious object had been left in the Drumgullion Avenue area at around 2.50pm. A number of homes in the area were evacuated as officers conducted a public safety operation in the area.
