Drugs seizure in Co Antrim
Police in Co Antrim have seized cannabis with a street value estimated at £1.75 million.
The drugs were recovered following the search of premises in the Glarryford area of Ballymena. A quantity of an as yet unidentified white powder was also recovered.
A 48-year-old man was arrested and is currently assisting police with their enquiries.
Elsewhere, army bomb experts have dealt with a pipe bomb in Co Down.
The device, which was found in the driveway of a house on the Newcastle Road near Drumaness yesterday evening, was made safe and then removed for forensic examination.
Police are still investigating a possible motive but do not believe the incident was sectarian.

Police Officers Disciplined For Failing To Tell Doctor About Woman's Head Injuries
Two police officers have been disciplined after they failed to let their colleagues and a police doctor know that a woman had sustained a head injury, a Police Ombudsman investigation has concluded. The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.

Man's Body Recovered From Bangor Marina
Police have launched an investigation after the body of a man was recovered from Bangor Marina on Wednesday, 13 May. Police received a report that a man had entered the water shortly after 10.15am. Emergency services and police attended the scene and the body was recovered from the water. Police are not treating the death as suspicious.

Weekend Bomb Attacks Condemned
A spate of bomb attacks over the weekend has been condemned by the First and deputy First Minister and parties across the political spectrum. A police patrol was attacked with a pipe bomb in County Tyrone on Saturday. A security alert began in the Ballycolman estate, Strabane, at about 20:25, following news that something had been thrown at police.

TWO elderly Protestant sisters have escaped injury after a petrol bomb attack on their East Belfast home. The women, aged 73 and 79, escaped injury after a passing police patrol discovered a fire at their home and forced their way into the house in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
