Yellow Weather Warning For Ice Issued Across NI
A number of schools across Northern Ireland are closed due to the heavy snow.
A list of school closures is available here.
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for ice which will remain in place until 10 am on Saturday, 11 March.
Translink has also made changes to a number of its bus services.
The Strangford ferry has also been suspended.
A Met Office spokesperson said: "It will be an exceptionally cold night on Friday, with a clear and frosty start to Saturday for the majority."

Met Office Issues Yellow Weather Warning For Rain
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for rain across Northern Ireland and Scotland on Saturday, 09 June. Slow-moving heavy thunderstorms are expected to develop on Saturday afternoon between 12am – 9pm, with potentially up to 20mm of rain to fall in less than an hour and 30 – 50mm possible in three hours.

The Met Office put the warning in place between midnight and noon on Saturday, 05 August, The heaviest rain is expected in Belfast and the South East, It said the wet and windy conditions could cause flooding in homes and businesses as well as travel disruption.
