PSNI Investigating Number Of Rural Thefts
PSNI detectives has conducted a search operation of a property in the Ballyclare area as part of an investigation into a number of rural thefts.
Following the operation, Detective Inspector Lenaghan said: "Our enquiries into what could amount to be dozens of incidents of rural thefts across the country since 2017, led us to a property on the Irish Hill Road, near Ballyclare, on Thursday, where we recovered over 100 items from the property, including vehicles and power tools. A 46 year old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of handling stolen goods and later released on police bail to allow for further enquiries to be carried out.
"Our investigation is continuing and I would ask anyone who has any information which could assist us with our enquiries, to contact detectives in Antrim on 101, quoting reference number 484 27/04/23.

Man Dies After Bus Fall In Belfast
Detectives are investigating the death of an 80-year-old man who fell from a bus in Belfast. Police have said that they believe the man was travelling on a 2J Translink Metro bus service at around 11:15am on Friday, 08 November, when he suffered a fall as the bus travelled along Royal Avenue, near it's junction with North Street.

Shots Fired At House In Belfast
A man and woman have escaped injury after shots were fired at a house in south Belfast. They were inside the property in Powerscourt Place when the attack was carried out at approximately 10.25pm on Wednesday 31 October. Two shots were fired and two windows were damaged.

Police have launched an investigation after a house and car were damaged by a gang, believed to have been armed with sledgehammers, in north Belfast. The incident happened at residential premises in the Dhu Varren Parade area at around 10.30pm on Friday, 10 November. No-one was injured in the incident.
