Yellow Weather Warning Issued Across NI
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for heavy showers and thunderstorms across Northern Ireland today.
The warning has been issued from 10.30am until 8pm. The maximum temperature is 22 degrees.
Travel disruption is expected in places with heavy rain showers and some flooding may also occur.

A yellow weather warning for heavy rain has been issued across Northern Ireland. The Met Office put the warning in place between midnight and noon on Saturday, 05 August, The heaviest rain is expected in Belfast and the South East, It said the wet and windy conditions could cause flooding in homes and businesses as well as travel disruption.

Roads Service Ready For Winter Weather
Infrastructure Minister John O'Dowd has confirmed that the Department's winter service team is prepared to tackle the current cold snap. Around 300 staff and 130 gritters are ready to salt main roads, while 12 snow blowers are available for deployment if necessary. To ensure a comprehensive winter service, the Department has allocated £3.
