Man Arrested In Connection Stabbing In Newcastle
A 47-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a stabbing incident in Newcastle on Thursday 24 August.
Shortly before 7am, it was reported that a man in his 70s was located at the Main Street area with stab wound injuries. He was taken to hospital for his injuries.
Police have said that their enquiries are continuing and have appealed to anyone with any information to contact detectives on 101, quoting reference number 274 24/08/23. Pedestrian Injured In Belfast Hit-and-Run
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following a hit-and-run incident in the Botanic Avenue area of Belfast in the early hours of Thursday morning. Officers were called to the scene shortly before 1.30am after a male pedestrian was struck by a maroon Mazda. Despite being injured, the pedestrian left the area before police arrived.

A man arrested in connection with a murder in Lurgan on Sunday, 06 August, has been released on bail pending further enquiries. The body of a man, aged 45, was discovered at a flat on Victoria Street. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Man Arrested On Suspicion Of Attempted Murder
A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder over an attack in Coleraine, Co L'Derry. A man, aged in his 50s, is in a critical condition in hospital after he was assaulted at a house on the Ballycastle Road on Monday, 26 September. Two other men were also arrested and have been released on bail pending further enquiries.
