Tobacco Seized In Newtownards Search Operations

A quantity of tobacco, cash and laptops have been seized in a joint Paramilitary Crime Task Force and HMRC operation in Newtownards.

As part of an ongoing investigation into criminality linked to North Down UDA, officers searched two properties in the Queen Street area today, 10 October.

The seized items have been removed for further forensic examination.

Police Investigate Shooting Incident In L'Derry

Detectives from the Paramilitary Crime Task Force have made a significant drug seizure in Omagh. Officers searched a van in the Doogary Road area on Thursday morning, 21st November, and recovered a substantial quantity of suspected cocaine with an estimated street value of £750,000.

Man Charged Over £60k Cannabis Find
A man is facing charges for drugs offences after police seized around £60,000 of cannabis in County Down. The drugs were discovered during a vehicle stop and search in Moira on Thursday, 19 September. Detectives have charged the 49-year-old man with possession and possession with intent to supply a Class B controlled drug.
