Appeal For Information On Burglaries And Robbery In Comber
PSNI detectives have issued an appeal for information and witnesses following two burglaries and a robbery in Comber, Co Down.
Shortly after 9.20am on Sunday, November 12 it was reported to police that sometime overnight, entry had been gained to a restaurant in the Killinchy Street area. A front door window was smashed and a sum of money was taken from the till.
The following morning, at around 6.30am on Monday, 13 November it was reported to police that a restaurant on the Square had been burgled. A glass panel in the front door had been smashed and a sum of money taken.
Detective Sergeant Bell said: "We are keen to speak to a man and a woman who were in the area between 2-2.30am. The man is described as wearing a blue / black hooded top, black tracksuit bottoms and a black face covering.
"The woman is described as having long blonde hair and wearing a green knee-length coat, black bottoms and white trainers.
"The third report was received just after 9pm on Monday, November 13, when it was reported that a man had entered retail premises in The Square area, armed with a crowbar, before making off from the store on foot with two till drawers and their contents.
"He is believed to have made off in the direction of Parkway.
"Members of staff who were present at the time were thankfully, physically unharmed, but have been left shaken as a result.
"The suspect was described as being around six feet tall and wearing grey tracksuit bottoms, a dark-coloured jacket and gloves.
"Our enquiries are ongoing in relation to all three reports, and I would encourage anyone who may be able to assist with our investigation to contact us on 101, quoting reference 1944 of 13/11/23."

Man Charged After Glenarm Shooting
Detectives investigating the incident on Feystown Road on Monday, 25 November, have charged a 41-year-old man with attempted murder, possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life, and criminal damage. The accused is due to appear at Ballymena Magistrates’ Court today, Thursday, 28 November.

Man Jailed In Connection With Annahilt Cannabis Farm
The PSNI has welcomed the sentencing of a man at Craigavon Crown Court in connection with a cannabis farm disovered in Annahilt in February, 2023. Clive Weir, from the Annahilt area, was sentenced to 18 months in prison and 18 months on licence.
