Appeal Following 'Ram-Raid' Style Robbery In Newry
An investigation has been launched following a 'ram-raid' style robbery at a jewellers in Newry in the early hours of Wednesday, 06 December.
According to police, shortly after 4.30am a silver saloon car reversed into the shutters of the shop a number of times. A man then alighted from the vehicle and pulled back the damaged shutters and entered the shop.
Once inside the man removed cash from a till and a quantity of jewellery before fleeing in the vehicle.
Police are asking anyone with information, or anyone who may have captured footage in the area at around the time of the burglary, to please get in touch by calling 101, quoting reference 136 06/12/23.

Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 which is anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime.

Man Shot Multiple Times In Belfast
A man has been shot a number of times in west Belfast. The incident happened in the Norglen Gardens area of the city at around 7pm on Wednesday (26 February). Police received reports that the victim had been shot in the arms and legs. He was later taken to hospital for treatment. His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

Appeal Over Down Cash-Transit Robbery
Detectives in Downpatrick have appealed for information following the robbery of a cash in transit van in the Bath Street area of Ardglass at the weekend. At around 1.30pm on Saturday one of the delivery men had gotten out of the vehicle when he was approached by a man brandishing what's thought to have been a knife.
