Young Woman Dies After Ballymena Collision
Police have confirmed that a 22-year-old woman has died following a three-vehicle road traffic collision in Ballymena last week.
The collision happened on Friday, 8 December, at 12.15 pm, and involved a silver Vauxhall Corsa, a grey BMW 430D and blue Volvo XC90 on the Lisnevenagh Road.
Since the collision, 22-year-old Katya Watson from the Coleraine area passed away from her injuries in hospital.
The Police Service of Northern Ireland said: "Officers attended, alongside our colleagues from other emergency services and first aid was provided at the scene.
"We would appeal to anyone with any information or who may have dash-cam or mobile phone footage available to get in contact with us on 101, quoting reference number 701 08/12/23.
"We are especially keen to hear from the driver of a blue BMW who was driving in the southbound lane at the time of the collision."

A woman has died in a one-vehicle crash in Co Fermanagh. The collision happened on the Newbridge Road in Derrylin just after midnight on Saturday. Another woman and a man were taken to hospital to be treated. Their injuries are believed to be serious. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Woman Found Unconscious On Co Down Road
A woman has been found unconscious on a road in County Down. The woman, aged in her 50s, was discovered on the Sheepland Road at around 4.30am on Sunday. She was taken to hospital where she is believed to be in a serious condition.
