City Hall Jobs Fair To Highlight Current And Future City Jobs
Belfast City Council will host a City Hall Jobs Fair on Wednesday, 17 January, to highlight the more than 40 current and future job vacancies.
Taking place next Wednesday from 10am to 3pm, the event will offer information on the following roles:
• General Operatives
• Open Street Scene Sweeper Driver Labourer
• Parks Operative
• Community Centre Assistant Supervisor
• Community Centre Supervisor
• Playground Inspector
• Combined HGV/LGV Driver Loader
Councillor Clíodhna Nic Bhranair, Chair of Belfast City Council's City Growth and Regeneration Committee said: "We've made a commitment in The Belfast Agenda to help everyone living in Belfast reach their potential and find training and employment.
"So, if you're looking for a job or a new career, I'd encourage you to pop in for a chat with our team at our Jobs Fair at City Hall on 17 January. We're looking forward to helping people take the next step in their career – it's a great opportunity to become part of a team that helps make Belfast a great place to live, work, study and visit."

St Patrick's Day event has support of BCC says councillor
The Chairman of Belfast City Council’s Good Relations Steering Panel has challenged claims that the Council is not supporting St Patrick’s Day in Belfast. It follows a protest outside Belfast City Hall last week by the St Patrick's Carnival Committee who claim the Council isn't funding this year's event at the City Hall.

Primark Donates £500,000 To Support Businesses Affected By Fire
Retailer Primark is donating £500,000 to Belfast City Council's City Recovery Investment Fund. The fund is being set up after a number of businesses have been severely affected by the fire at the Bank Buildings which happened over three weeks ago. A cordon remains in place and 14 firms have been closed for up to four months.
