Cannabis factory uncovered in Newtownabbey
Police are appealing for information following the discovery of a drug–making factory in Co Antrim on Thursday.
Detectives in Newtownabbey uncovered the cannabis producing facility following a planned search of a house in the Carnmeen area of Rathcoole.
Cannabis making equipment and plants with an estimated street value of around £36,000 were seized.
Police are continuing their enquiries but have appealed for anyone with information to contact detectives in Newtownabbey on 028 9065 0222 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.

Newtownabbey Home Damaged In Burglary
Detectives in Antrim are appealing for information following a burglary in Newtownabbey on Wednesday 27 March. A house on the Carnmoney Road was targeted at sometime between 3.30pm and 6.30pm, while the female occupant was out. Although nothing was stolen during the incident, damage was caused to the rear door.

Two men have been arrested following the discovery of a suspected cannabis factory at a property in Craigavon on Tuesday 10th January. Shortly after 5.15pm, officers received and responded to a report of suspicious activity at a house in the Carrigart Crescent area.
