The 40 year-old-man was extradited from Poland on Thursday 11th April, to stand trial in relation to a number of offences of cultivation of cannabis.

The offences occurred in the Maghera and Coleraine areas in October 2019. The suspect skipped bail and failed to appear before Coleraine and Magherafelt Magistrates Court in March and April 2021

The male was initially arrested in Poland on March 7th this year, and extradition proceedings are now complete with his successful return to Northern Ireland on Thursday.
