Three In Hospital After Police Vehicle Collides With Another Vehicle
Two police officers and a civilian remain in hospital following a collision in Newry on Saturday, 13 April.
It is understood that the police officers were travelling in a police vehicle to attend a separate incident at about 7.30pm when they collided with another vehicle on the Fathom Road.
The Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service and Northern Ireland Ambulance Service attended the collision and administered first aid at the scene.
Inspector Porter said: "I wish both our police officers and member of the public a speedy and full recovery from their injuries.
"Our investigation is now underway to establish exactly what happened. We would appeal to anyone who witnessed the collision or who may have dash-cam footage to contact police on 101, quoting reference number 1581 13/04/24."

Two police officers have been disciplined after they failed to let their colleagues and a police doctor know that a woman had sustained a head injury, a Police Ombudsman investigation has concluded. The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.

Police Officers Injured After Stolen Car Collides With PSNI Vehicle
Two police officers have been injured after a stolen car collided with their vehicle in west Belfast. The incident happened in the Springfield Avenue area in the early hours of Thursday morning, 29 June. Police observed a red coloured Vauxhall Astra and a blue coloured Citroen DS3 speeding along the Donegall Road in the direction of Falls Road.

Two police officers remain in hospital being and are being treated for injuries they sustained when their vehicle was rammed by a stolen car outside Newry on Monday, 10 June. At around 9am, it was reported to police that a silver Volkswagen Passat had been taken from outside a house on Irish Street in Armagh City.

PSNI Cuts Uproar
An already financially beleaguered police service is facing fresh cutbacks. As a result, the Northern Ireland Policing Board is to challenge the Government over proposed £17m cuts in the police service budget.
