PSNI Appeal For Information After Aggravated Burglary In Bushmills
Detectives are seeking information following a report of an aggravated burglary which occurred at the Carnbore Road area of Bushmills yesterday, 14 May.
Police received a report shortly after 10.45pm that three masked men armed with a sledgehammer and two pieces of piping had entered a property in the area.
In a statement, Detective Inspector Hanbidge said: "It was reported that an altercation occurred in the home involving two men and a woman who were inside the property and the three masked men. One man in his 60s received an injury to his head. A woman in her 60s received a hand injury and a man in his 30s sustained a blow to his leg and was struck on the head. Both men were taken to hospital for treatment to their injuries. It was also reported that a young male was also present in the house, but was not injured."
As enquiries continue, detectives are appealing to anyone with any information in relation to the incident, to contact them on 101 quoting reference number 1884 14/05/24 or by submitting a report online using the non-emergency reporting form via www.psni.police.uk/makeareport/. Man Arrested In Connection With Belfast Stabbing
A 25-year-old has been arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm following an assault in south Belfast on the evening of Saturday, 3rd August. Shortly after 8.10pm on Saturday, police received a report of a suspected stabbing in the Fitzroy Avenue area of the city.

On Wednesday 12 June, the PSNI stated that there is reason to believe an altercation involving three men occurred in the area shortly before 4.30pm, which resulted in one of the men sustaining a stab wound to his neck.
