Items Seized During Belleek Search
Detectives from the Police Service's Terrorism Investigation Unit seized items during a search in the Belleek area.
The search which was carried out on Tuesday, 11 June, was in relation to the discovery of a suspected improvised explosive device in County Louth on 9 June, where officers have been working alongside colleagues in An Garda Síochána.
In a statement, Detective Chief Inspector Hamlin said: "During the search of a house, a number of items were taken away for further examination, including a number of mobile devices, clothing and tools. Our investigation is continuing and we will be providing full support to An Garda Síochána as enquiries continue.
"We are grateful for the support of local communities and encourage anyone with information, or concerns, to contact us on 101 or report online."

£17m To Support Pensioners Affected By Winter Fuel Payment Changes
Communities Minister Gordon Lyons has announced a £17 million fund to support pensioners who have lost eligibility for the Winter Fuel Payment due to recent UK government changes. The one-off £100 payment will be automatically issued to an estimated 250,000 pensioners in around 170,000 households before the end of March 2025.
