Appeal After Man Assaulted And Pursued In Newtownabbey
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information and witnesses following a serious assault in Newtownabbey on Monday, 08 July.
According to police, a 41-year-old man was walking his dog in Valley Dog Park on O'Neill Road at around 2pm when he was approached by a group of men. One of the group proceeded to punch the victim to the side of the face causing him to fall to the ground. The other men then began to kick him.
Another man in the park responded to the victim's cries for help and the group of assailants fled.
Whilst making his way from the park in his vehicle, the victim was blocked on Antrim Road by a black Volkswagen Tiguan which pulled into his path. As he made off, he was pursued by the Tiguan for a distance before his blue Mercedes car was rammed from behind. At the Fortwilliam traffic lights a male exited the Tiguan and approached the Mercedes however the victim drove off.
Police are investigating and would like to hear from witnesses or anyone with information. They would especially like to speak to anyone who may have captured any relevant dashcam or any other footage in the area at the time. Please call 101, quoting reference 1390 08/07/24. North Belfast Murder Victim Conor McKee Shot A Number Of Times
31-year-old north Belfast murder victim Conor McKee was shot a number of times, police have revealed. Mr McKee was found dead by his mother at his Glenpark Street home last Thursday night. Two men arrested over the murder have been released on bail.

Portadown car crash victim named
The woman killed in a road accident near Portadown in Co Armagh yesterday has been named as Ellen McDowell, 32, from Castlewellan Road, Banbridge. The woman was killed when the car she was in was in collision with a lorry at around 12 pm on Monday. Three other people were hurt in the collision.

Man Charged With Attempted Murder
A 35-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder over an attack in Coleraine, Co L'Derry. The victim, aged in his 50s, is in a critical condition after being assaulted at a house on the Ballycastle Road on Monday, 26 September. The suspect is due to appear at Coleraine Magistrates' Court on Monday, 17 October.

Man Shot In Legs In Co Armagh
A man has been shot in both legs in Co Armagh. A group of men forced their way into a house in the Meadowbank area of Craigavon and dragged the victim outside and shot him in both legs. The incident happened on Thursday night. The 26-year-old man has is being treated in hospital. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Two Seriously Injured In Comber Road Crash
